Our Pastor, Father Zoghby

On November 6, 2003, the Very Reverend Paul G. Zoghby was appointed the Pastor of St. Margaret of Scotland in Foley. Father Zoghby was the youngest of seven children born to Sam and Julia Zoghby in Mobile. He attended St. Catherine Elementary School and graduated from McGill/Toolen High School in 1985. Father Zoghby began his studies for the sacred priesthood at St. Joseph Seminary College in Covington, LA. He continued his studies at North American College in Rome earning a Licentiate Degree in Sacred Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome in 1994. While studying in Rome, he was ordained a priest on June 26, 1993. Upon leaving Rome and coming home to the Alabama Gulf Coast, he was assigned to be the Associate Pastor of St. Mary Parish in Mobile. While there he also served the Archdiocese of Mobile as Director of Catholic Charities and Director of Vocations.
